iPhone crushes competition in customer satisfaction survey

Yoni Heisler writes about the iPhone’s results from a recent customer satisfaction survey conducted by J.D. Power and Associates.
“‘The iPhone received the highest rating in a number of categories including overall satisfaction, physical design, ease of operation, features, and operating system. Even more impressive is the fact that other smartphones weren’t even close to matching the scores that Apple’s iPhone received.”
Chip sales dive 29% in March

“ Total (chip) sales were $14.7 billion the SIA reports, down 29.9 per cent on the previous year, but up 3.3 per cent on February. The organization said sales were up on the month in all regions, except for Japan. Conversely, all regions were down on the previous year.”
Samsung to release Android phone in June

Garett Rogers writes that Samsung will next month be releasing a new phone (the I7500) that runs Android.
“The quad band phone has some impressive specs too: Android, five mega-pixel camera, GPS, 8GB internal memory.”
