Digital signage is going deeper into the small business market with an expanded partnership between Best Buy for Business and ScreenScape in Canada.
Based in Charlottetown, PEI, ScreenScape is a community-based digital signage network. Businesses use ScreenScape for digital signage, media distribution, and advertising in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform model. The company is broadening its relationship with Best Buy for Business Canada, the electronics retailer’s business-focused arm, which offers commercial-grade products and services and dedicated account managers to business customers.
“Best Buy for Business Canada and ScreenScape have enjoyed a mutually-beneficial partnership for more than a year now,” said Tony White, commercial sales manager for Best Buy for Business Canada. “In a relatively short amount of time ScreenScape has changed the landscape of the digital signage industry in Canada. When it comes to new projects they seem, increasingly, to be the platform of choice and Best Buy for Business Canada is now better suited than ever to help ScreenScape customers achieve their fastest ROI.”
Best Buy for Business Canada offers a range of digital signage solutions that cater to the needs of ScreenScape customers including display appliance hardware, software configuration, installation and maintenance services and remote monitoring.
The companies have announced two co-marketing initiatives including a new e-commerce website and a nation-wide technical services solution offered at the retail level through Best Buy’s GeekSquad and Connectpro organizations.
“As an online service ScreenScape relies on partners like Best Buy for Business to help our fullservice customers achieve a total solution,” said ScreenScape founder and chief product officer, Mark Hemphill. “Best Buy for Business offers everything you need to professionally manage a ScreenScape-powered display, or network of displays, in your place of business. Now with the addition of an e-commerce website and the readiness of the Geeksquad and ConnectPro networks the process of accessing these services has just become a whole lot easier.”
