Just in time for Windows 8, Microsoft Canada has opened the doors of its holiday store for the Christmas season.
The company opened new pop-up stores at the Eaton Centre in Toronto, the Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby, B.C., the Oakridge Centre in Vancouver and the world biggest mall, the West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton.
All this for Windows 8 and the upcoming grand opening of its Canadian flagship store at the Yorkdale mall on Nov. 16th.
These holiday stores are part of 34 new pop-up stores opening the same day in North America. The stores will provide consumers the opportunity to interact with and purchase products, such as its first ever tablet, the new Microsoft Surface and Windows 8 that will be available for the first time on that day. Microsoft has said it will be selling the Surface exclusively at its retail stores and online at microsoftstore.com for now.
