SharePoint Workspace 2010 … Groove’s new name

“Groove … will be changing its name from Microsoft Office Groove 2007 to SharePoint Workspace 2010. Not only will Groove get a new name that identifies it as part of the SharePoint team, but in its Workspace 2010 form it will also get new features that Microsoft says will make it easier to deploy and manage.”
Microsoft finally shows why the Zune stands out against the iPod

Matthew Miller shares his thoughts on Microsoft’s Zune versus Apple’s iPod and iTunes.
“I have heard many iPod fans agreeing that the Zune desktop software is better than iTunes so what is the real advantage to the iPod and iTunes? The iPhone and iPod touch stand apart, but for dedicated music players I prefer the Zune devices over iPods because I find the navigation controls to be better and the hardware of the new Zune generation is solid.”
Firefox 3.5 RC1 on Track for Early June Release

“The first release candidate of Firefox 3.5 is scheduled to arrive the first week of June. Among the new features in Firefox 3.5 are the enhanced JavaScript rendering engine to speed up Web apps, an improved session restore tool and a private browsing mode that eschews local page caching on a per-session basis. Mozilla has not set a firm date for the final release of Firefox 3.5, though in the past the time between a release candidate and the final version is typically four to six weeks.”
