OnX Enterprise Solutions Ltd., a nationwide enterprise-class infrastructure and associated solution provider, has acquired MIC Partners Inc., a business technology optimization (BTO) software specialist in Canada.
OnX has a longstanding relationship with HP and was recently recognized as their Canadian Partner of the Year.
“The acquisition of MIC will solidify OnX’s position as the HP partner with both the broadest and the deepest set of skills around the entire HP portfolio of products from notebooks to Superdomes and now inclusive of their extensive software offerings”, said Ed Vos, President of OnX. “This acquisition will make OnX one of only two HP Platinum software partners in Canada and will serve to further elevate us above our competitors”.
“Joining a national organization like OnX who has gained a leadership position in the HP ecosystem both from a technical and a customer relationship viewpoint will certainly help propel the MIC offerings and our highly skilled talent pool to greater heights”, stated Jim Langedyk, president of MIC Partners. “The entire MIC team is thrilled to be part of this well respected organization”.
“On behalf of HP, we are delighted that one of our top software partners has aligned with one of our top hardware partners to deliver the entire HP value proposition to our respective customers and prospects”, stated Andy Aicklen, vice president, HP Software Canada and former GM of PeopleSoft Canada. “We view this acquisition by OnX as a real win for HP Canada”.
The BTO software from HP helps organizations of all sizes ensure that every dollar invested in IT, every resource allocated and every application in development or production meets their identified business goals.
