Panasonic Canada is bringing its Canadian unified communications (UC) PBX solutions to the cloud with its new Cloud Solutions offerings.
The Cloud Solutions will coexist with the current available on-premises PBX solutions, with the idea here being that if a business wants to migrate these types of solutions to the cloud, now Panasonic is giving them the option to do so. The PBX solutions include the SIP Trunking and Hosted PBX offerings.
“With these new offerings bolstering our existing solutions we’re helping to meet the evolving communication needs of today’s people-centric organizations,” said Brian Cox, director of business solutions at Panasonic Canada, in a statement. “From small teams to large enterprises, today’s workforces are becoming more and more dispersed, working outside the traditional office. This means business owners need better ways to stay connected and productive. Panasonic’s new cloud-based solution is helping to solve this increasingly vital challenge.”
The Hosted PBX solution can provide businesses with carrier-grade, advanced IP communications systems. It’s designed for companies with as few as two extensions, and the solution is managed by Panasonic service providers, removing any IT needs on the customer end.
The SIP Trunking offerings are getting an added boost now that it can also be cloud-based. New features include new VOIP lines that can scale when needed. Panasonic says that this solution is best for organizations with a high call volume, particularly in international calls, and that as a cloud-based offering it costs 60 to 80 per cent less than other traditional business phone options.
Both solutions are available through Panasonic channel partners.
