Report: Intel-Powered Tablets to Debut This Summer

Mike Isaac reports that an Acer tablet using Intel technology could be released as early as this summer, followed by two more releases by other companies.
“Acer will launch a tablet powered by Intel’s ‘Oak Trail’ processor, which could start selling as early as July, according to sources cited by DigiTimes. Asus and Lenovo will follow Acer’s lead shortly thereafter, say the sources.”
HP aims to boost printing services with Printelligent acquisition

“Printelligent has been on the scene for the last 23 years as a national managed print provider. When the deal is done, the company will be integrated into HP’s Imaging and Printing Group within the LaserJet and Enterprise Solutions unit.”

“When it comes to Sophos acquiring Astaro, ‘We will integrate where we should and leave things alone where we should,’ said Hale. ‘Right now the message is Astaro has a great channel program and we have a do-no-harm strategy. I will be all over making sure we do a good job with Astaro.'”
