Seagate refreshes external storage with GoFlex line

“The new line features portable, desktop, network-attached and multimedia devices in a new form factor that allows for flexibility with current connection options such as USB 2.0, 3.0, FireWire and eSATA, and also allows for future upgradeability. In addition, the GoFlex drives will work with both PC and Macintosh systems (note AND, not OR), which means consumers with a mixed environment will be able to use one drive to easily copy, share and store files.”
Microsoft delivers second preview test build of IE 9

Mary Jo Foley shares some new features in Microsoft’s latest IE 9 preview.
“On May 5, Microsoft made available to developers and other interested testers Platform Preview 2 of its Internet Explorer (IE) 9 browser. The new preview includes new performance tests, like Flickr Explorer, Browser Flip; a few new HTML5 tests, and several new graphics demos, like SVG Tweet Cloud and Real World Diagrams. Microsoft officials have not said when to expect an actual beta of IE 9 or when the final release is due.”
