Chicago-based technology services distributor Telecom Brokerage Inc. (TBI) and its more than 2,000 agents and VARs can now offer customers a variety of business solutions belonging to Canadian communications provider Shaw Communications Inc.
Shaw recently signed a distribution partnership agreement with TBI, and according to Keith Connolly, vice-president of sales for TBI, their service offerings will make a strong addition to TBI’s family of suppliers.
“We look forward to making their service offerings available to our partner community,” he said in a statement.
TBI’s portfolio of voice, internet, mobility, data, cloud and managed services can be found across the U.S. Mike Walker, national sales manager of indirect sales for Shaw Business said he’s pleased with the new partnership and that it will boost its channel programs south of the border.
According to TBI, the company will offer solutions from the Shaw Business portfolio, specifically data solutions focused on providing private, and secure, network connectivity. These will include point-to-point connections and large multi-point network solutions.
“TBI offers significant opportunities for Shaw Business to continue to increase sales via our U.S Master’s Program and we look forward to what TBI can bring to the table,” said Walker.
Last week, Shaw also announced the integration of the YouTube and YouTube Kids apps into its BlueSky TV platform, allowing users to stream videos from their couch.
