AMD offers breathing room with business class PC

Although Intel has had its own operational screwups, missing product deadlines has been an ongoing problem since AMD’s early days. It may be difficult for IT managers to think of AMD as a business-class PC provider if it can’t keep its own business running smoothly.”

“According to Fortune, AT&T is hoping to ease such price-related concerns by offering a $200 rebate or subsidy for those who sign two-year contracts. Unfortunately, the $200 subsidy will supposedly be limited to AT&T customers and won’t be available through any of Apple’s stores, which seems a bit odd to us.”

“Lots of people have white-collar jobs that allow them to take blogging breaks on a regular basis. And it’s not necessary to churn out 20 posts a day in order to build up a strong readership. If you can do one or two really sharp posts each day, that’s likely to be enough to get people noticing your work. Moreover, having a day job often gives a blogger unique insights.”
