Tech Data Canada announced today a new partnership with Toronto-based Jatheon Technologies to distribute its information archiving solutions.
Jatheon’s product is designed as a non-intrusive network application that simplifies archiving, indexing, retrieval and dynamic monitoring of corporate email and messaging data.
According to Pierre Villeneuve, chief executive officer of the company, the solution helps cut the cost of archival storage and allows users to detect when sensitive information has been leaked.
It is supported by Tech Data Canada’s Advanced Infrastructure Solutions Division, the distributor said, and can be tailored to companies anywhere between 50 and 15,000 employees. Additionally, Jatheon offers hardware refresh every four years at no additional charge.
“We are excited about our new partnership with Jatheon,” said Paul Wilkinson, director of product management at Tech Data Canada in an official statement. “The Jatheon solution is well-positioned based on price, ease of use and support for business and government entities concerned about regulatory compliance. It will provide our reseller partners across Canada with more opportunities for increased revenue as the demand for information archiving grows.”
