Asus’ Eee keyboard out next month – official

James Sherwood provides details about Asus’ Eee keyboard, which will be available in North America sometime next month.
“The Asus Eee keyboard – which has an integrated 5in touch¬-screen – will feature a 1.6GHz Atom processor, 1GB of DDR 2 memory and the option of a 16GB or 32GB solid-state drive. The unit has 802.11n Wi-Fi on board.”
NEC, Casio, and Hitachi forming mobile joint venture next year

“The deal’s expected to close in April of next year, at which point the combined venture will be the second-largest in Japan behind Sharp and the idea of NEC bringing devices to the States won’t seem that far-fetched – Casio Hitachi already does through Verizon, after all.”
CA Picks Up NetQoS For $200 Million In Cash

Robin Wauters reveals that vendor CA, plans to acquire network performance management and service delivery solution vendor, NetQoS by the end of this year.
“The … $200 million in an all-cash transaction … acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of the calendar year, pending regulatory approvals. According to the announcement, NetQoS’ solutions will extend CA’s capabilities in areas such as network and systems management, application performance management and cloud management.”
