Toshiba of Canada Ltd. has lifted the curtain on Toshiba Frontline, its new online resource and incentive program for its channel partners.
Replacing Toshiba’s old partner portal, Toshiba Frontline, which launched Oct. 1, includes enhances training and education tools, the latest product information, and a new incentive program designed to encourage reseller partners and their sales staff keep Toshiba products front of mind.
“It’s really an exciting program, especially since our channel is our most powerful partner and our most powerful sales force,” said Jessica Smith, channel and services program manager with Toshiba of Canada.
After working closely with Toshiba’s channel partners, Smith said Toshiba heard that partners needed a one-stop resource and education tool to help them sell more effectively.
“We’ve been listening, and that’s why we decided to invest in and create Toshiba Frontline,” said Smith.
The Web site includes sales tools and education modules designed to help facilitate a knowledge transfer to partners about Toshiba products, help partners speed their sales cycles, and give partners confidence they have the most up to date product news and current pricing information to give their customers. There’s also a help desk to help partners with the Frontline tools.
A key new program launched as part of Frontline is the incentive program. Both Toshiba partner organizations and partner sales representatives can earn points based on their Toshiba sales that can be redeemed in Frontline’s rewards store for merchandise, such as outdoor and camping equipment, jewelry, home appliances, furnishing and electronics, or reloadable Visa cards. Smith added partners can also earn incentive points for completion of education modules that can be used for the redemption of rewards.
Smith stresses, though, that Toshiba Frontline is more than just a spiff program, acting as a one-stop resource and education centre to help partners sell more effectively.
“Toshiba Frontline is launching a new era in our channel partner success,” said Smith. “Our goal is to help our partners succeed, and this is a key step toward achieving that.”
