Harmonic, a San Jose, Calif.-based developer of video delivery infrastructure solutions, has launched a new channel program to help it recruit and support an ecosystem of channel partners for its video delivery infrastructure offerings.
The Harmonic Partner Advantage Program is designed to support the vendor’s growing ecosystem of channel partners, including more than 400 global value-added resellers, solution providers, and systems integrators, and provide them with tools and resources and targeted sales incentives, as well as technical enablement and marketing services.
“Harmonic is dedicated to providing our customers with an excellent experience at every step of the sales process, and to this end we offer our partner companies access to resources that enable them to become trusted advisors to their customers,” said Lauren Ventura, vice president, global channels for Harmonic, in a statement. “In the hands of our channel partners, the tools provided by the Harmonic Partner Advantage Program serve to drive business, create new opportunities, speed the closing of deals, and increase profitability while improving pre- and post-sales services for our customers.”
According to the vendor, the program is designed to help partners grow their business at each stage of the sales cycle, from engagement through deployment and delivery. The program provides technical guidance, sales alignment and enablement, and gives partners access to marketing collateral and resources, technical support, a discount purchase program, and joint sales and marketing opportunities.
Harmonic also unveiled the Harmonic Influencer Program. Open to independent technology consultants who influence business decisions at end customers, it provides access to Harmonic technology and solutions, resources that provide portfolio education and updates, and an incentive program.
Harmonic’s main customers are broadcasters, service providers and other media companies with emerging video capabilities.
