ViewSonic has announced a number of new enhancements to its Finch Club reseller program which will go into effect next month, Jeff Volpe, the company’s vice-president and general manager for the Americas said.
“We’re continuing to foster change for the better because we want our VARs to really see the value in ViewSonic,” he explained. “It was important for us to refine our programs to reflect many of the new product categories that we’re launching.”
Since launching its partner program in February last year, the company has roughly 15,000 active Finch Club members in the U.S. and about 7,000 in Canada, Volpe said.
Beginning next month, Finch Club will become a tiered program with Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels, which will be determined based on a partner’s qualifications.
The company will also have a formal advisory council which will represent each sales region in the U.S. and Canada. The council will consist of partners from across North America with a minimum of 12 and up to 24 VARs, Volpe said.
“The program will help guide us with the evolution of Finch Club,” he said. “We’ll be in frequent discussions with these partners and we’ll also have an annual get together and conference calls at a minimum, on a quarterly basis.”
ViewSonic will also make its Reseller Bounty Program available to its partners, where they can earn cash rewards when they include ViewSonic’s regional business managers in meetings with potential end-users, Volpe explained. By taking advantage of this program, in addition to the regular margins they’ll earn selling ViewSonic solutions, they’ll also receive a cash bounty on top of that.
To encourage partners to be more environmentally conscious and to save them money, ViewSonic has also expanded its Recycle+ Asset Recovery Program, which now sees the shipping fees waived for ViewSonic products that are sent in for recycling.
Through Finch Club, partners can also achieve specializations and certifications in certain product areas such as with digital signage, Volpe said. He mentioned View School will provide partners with the expertise they need through education for things like software and interactive projectors, he said. For partners who sell into the government sector, there will also be a government focused program.
