Viewsonic is preparing to unveil not one but two 4K ultra HD solutions that will include a 32-inch 4K desktop display and an 84-inch 4K interactive digital sign at next week’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
This will potentially make Viewsonic one of the first vendors in the industry to showcase the 4K ultra HD technology.
This technology is slated for graphic designers, cinematographers and videographers because 4K may be able to get closer to the native pixel resolutions they are filming with on camera, while consumers will be able to generate their own 4K ultra HD content with compatible high resolution video cameras as low as the sub $5,000 range.
On the commercial large format side, ViewSonic’s 84-inch two point touch 4K ultra HD digital sign is an interactive digital sign that extends the 4K ultra HD beyond the cinema environment toward commercial applications such as mapping, GIS, the military and satellite imagery.
