VMware has unveiled vRealize Suite 7, which includes Operations 6.2, Log Insight 3.3, Automation 7 and Business for Cloud 7.
The solution is designed to help customers provision and manage compute, storage, network and application services across hybrid cloud environments.
According to VMware, use cases include operations management such as addressing health, performance and capacity of IT services, and automating IT infrastructure delivery.
Operations 6.2 will built upon intelligent workload placement capabilities and introduce intelligent workload placement capabilities including integration with VMware vSphere Distributed Resource Scheduler.
Meanwhile, Log Insight 3.3 will receive backend and operational enhancements. Simple Query API for easy integration into existing processes and Web Hooks support for third-party application integration will be added.
Automation 7 will offer unified service blueprint capabilities meant to simplify and accelerate the delivery of integrated multi-tier applications with application-centric networking and security across clouds, and finally Business for Cloud aims to increase transparency and control over the costs and quality of IT services on-premises or in the public cloud.
Operations 6.2 is currently out. VMware vRealize Suite 7 and Log Insight 3.3 should be released in Q1 2016. The suite will come in three versions, Standard (US$3,745 per Portable Licensing Unit or PLU), Advanced (US$6,245 per PLU) and Enterprise (US$7,745 per PLU).
