Walmart Canada is using the CommerceHub network to boost its offerings for online shoppers.
As noted in our source story from Network World, Walmart Canada has only been offering ecommerce services tied into the goods at its 330 stores across Canada for about a year. CommerceHub is tapped into thousands of Walmart suppliers who can directly ship their products to Walmart customers.
So using CommerceHub has speeded the process of filling product orders made online by shoppers on the Walmart ecommerce site. Walmart uses CommerceHub to supplement its own in-house system of processing and shipping products directly from its own Walmart stores and warehouses.
CommerceHub is connected with 10,000 product suppliers overall. Sears, Staples and Costco are among the other retailers that use its system.
