Printing and imaging vendor Xerox Canada is entering the retail channel, through a partnership with Best Buy Canada and Future Shop.
The two electronics retailers will carry a selection of Xerox Canada’s printers and multifunction devices designed to provide small and home office users with office productivity features such as copying, printing, scanning and faxing.
“Xerox is the industry leader in document printing technology” said Ajay Dhingra, vice-president, indirect channel operations at Xerox Canada, in a statement. “Our partnership with leading technology retailers Best Buy Canada and Future Shop means that through their expansive network of stores across Canada, more small and home office businesses will have easier access to printing technology that will help them improve their office processes and productivity.”
The Xerox models will be available through the retailers immediately: the Workcentre 6015, Workcentre 3315 and Phaser 3040. Best Buy Canada and Future Shop will also carry Xerox inks and toners. In the future, both retailers are expected to become Xerox depot service authorized partners.
