Cloud services provider Atlantic.Net, which has a hosting facility in Toronto, today announced a partnership with Veeam Software that will allow its customers to access data protection solutions from Veeam and bolster their own disaster recovery technologies.
This also means the Orlando-based firm is now a registered partner in the Veeam Cloud and Service Provider program (VCSP), Veeam’s partner program, that boasts nearly 20,000 channel partners, according to Veeam’s website.
Atlantic.Net CEO, Marty Puranik, said their current backup and recovery offerings will benefit greatly from Veeam’s “intelligent data management capabilities.”
“Considering the ever-increasing threat of data loss, it’s especially important that we ensure the continued availability of our clients most valuable assets. Working alongside Veeam will further solidify our position as a secure hosting leader,” he said.
Matt Kalmenson, vice-president of service and cloud provider sales at Veeam, said the company is excited about Atlantic.Net joining the VCSP partner program.
“We’re confident in their ability to deliver Veeam–powered solutions to enable their customers to meet the challenging data protection and availability demands of today’s digital transformation era,” he said.
Atlantic.Net’s services are monitored, managed and maintained 24/7 by dedicated staff and engineers, according to its website, and its data centres are compliant with major auditing requirements, including HIPAA, HITECH, and SSAE 18 certifications.
