Avnet Technology Solutions has added two new partner programs in support of its Avnet Cloud Marketplace.
The two programs are called AWS CloudFront Reseller Program and Oracle Reseller Program. Both have been crafted to align with the distributor’s strategy to expand its cloud business for Canada and the U.S. market.
Key to both new plans is a flexible payment system and cloud management toolset.
The two programs feature:
- AWS CloudFront Reseller Program: Designed to build strategic partnerships with key Avnet AWS partners who enable content delivery network (CDN) specific workloads for their end customers. Partners now have access to Amazon CloudFront, a global CDN service that accelerates delivery of Web sites, APIs, video content or other web assets. It integrates with other AWS products to provide partners with a way to accelerate content to end users with no minimum usage commitments.
- Oracle Reseller Program: Gives partners the benefit of Avnet’s technical expertise and intellectual property in a ready-to-market solution. It enables partners with an out-of-the-box branded storefront ready to resell the most popular Oracle Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions with quick time to market and revenue value propositions in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Tim FitzGerald, vice president of digital transformation, Avnet Technology Solutions, Americas, described the two new programs as enhancers to solution provider businesses with a new set of resources and tools to allow them to quickly onboard new cloud offerings and provide customers the solutions they demand.
On top of the two new programs is the ability for channel partners to resell Avnet’s Managed Services through the Avnet Cloud Marketplace.
Avnet has also made several changes to the Avnet Cloud Marketplace including a new billing and reporting tool.
Channel partners can also engage with Avnet’s dedicated solutions specialists to develop complete cloud solutions. Avnet also provides the channel with in-depth expertise in complementary technology market segments, including: cognitive computing, data analytics, the data centre, the Internet of Things (IOT), mobility, security and enterprise networking.
