Consulting, cloud solutions, and managed services firm IT Weapons Inc. has announced its acquisition of fellow solution provider Collins IT.
The two companies, both based in Brampton, ON. would operate as one effective April 6, IT Weapons said.
“Integration is immediate,” said Jeremy MacBean, director of business development at IT Weapons. He cited the “very small” team at Collins that would be transitioning to Weapons. He added that there would be “zero” disruption to either Collins or Weapons clients.
According to MacBean, the deal had been in the works for about six months. IT Weapons, which has traditionally focused more on backend infrastructure, cloud and data centre solutions, will now have “a full end-to-end solution portfolio—from the Data Centre to the desktop,” the company said in a statement.
“This is a milestone for IT Weapons and it promises to bring great things for our clients,” Ted Garner, CEO of IT Weapons said in the statement.
