When networking equipment vendor Brocade has its next earnings call with analysts and media, Michael Klayko may no longer be the company’s CEO.
Klayko, who took the helm of Brocade in 2005, announced his departure from the top spot at the company’s third quarter earnings call in August. And this week, during their fourth quarter call, CRN reports he indicated he may not be around for the next call.
“I will tell you that the board is being very diligent,” said Klayko. “And I will also tell you that a lot of progress is being made to the point that this will probably be my last earnings call with you.”
