Citrix has a new president and CEO.
Kirill Tatarinov, who will replace interim president and CEO Robert Calderoni, is coming from a four-month stint from iTraq Inc., which makes an Indiegogo-funded device tracking gadget. However, his previous major role was the executive vice president of Microsoft’s business solutions division.
Prior to Microsoft, he was senior vice president and chief technology officer at BMC Software.
“Following a thorough review of candidates, the Board determined that Kirill’s strong product management background and extensive technology leadership experience make him the right person to oversee Citrix’s innovation and growth strategy,” Calderoni said in a statement.
The virtualization company has said that Calderoni will remain executive chairman on the Citrix Board of Directors.
Tatarinov will take on the role Jan 25.
