Security firm Check Point Software Technologies has introduced the Check Point Compliance Software Blade, an integrated real-time compliance monitoring solution that draws on knowledge of regulatory requirements and IT security best practices.
According to the vendor, the blade ensures that security policies are aligned with global regulations and validates that appropriate security levels are maintained. This should mean shorter audit times, improved security and reduced costs. The new solution is fully integrated into the Check Point Software Blade Architecture.

“Organizations face an overwhelming pressure to comply with a vast number of regulations under unclear guidance,” said Paul Comessotti, Canadian regional director for Check Point Software Technologies, in a statement. “The Compliance Software Blade makes it very simple for customers to establish security policies that adhere to a wide range of global regulations, and reinforces the importance of making security part of the business process.”
With the increasing complexity of compliance regulations and ever more sophisticated threats putting more and more pressure on IT security professionals, Check Point said the blade alleviates enterprise-wide risks by translating thousands of complex regulatory requirements into security best practices. It also includes the Check Point SmartDashboard management interface for a full view of an organization’s compliance status.
