Toronto –Conamex International of Montreal took home the Solution Provider of the Year award at last night’s CDN Channel Elite Awards at the Paramount Conference and Event Venue.
The long time Microsoft solution provider, who will be celebrating its 25 year in business, was surprised at the outcome. Elisabeth Vanderveldt, one of the principals of the organization, told the crowd of close to 300 attendees that she was satisfied with winning a bronze and extremely happy to receive this honour.
Company president Robert L’Esperance added that this award is just an indication that if you work hard to solve customer problems and deliver complete service to them 24/7 that good things will happen to you such as winning Solution Provider of the Year.
Conamex did win a bronze award for Best Small Business Solution last night for a video conferencing solution for the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority that played a key role in saving the life of 11-month old baby Amy who was suffering from a rare bone disorder.
That and its innovative work for the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance is what put Conamex over the top for the judges. Conamex’s creative SnowPro solution for the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance basically changed the way the alliance operates. This non-profit organization was able to reduce processing times from days into seconds to its 350 ski schools across the country. Instead of processing annual dues and donations, the ski instructors can now focus on developing Canadian champions to its more than 30,000 active members.
The solution provider also took an environmentally conscious approach to its IT solutions this year. They now make sure there solutions help customers reduce the carbon footprint by eliminating unnecessary paperwork. L’Esperance and Vanderveldt also hold leadership roles in the Canadian chapter of the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners which helps to facilitate mutual growth and business development among all channel partners.
