D-Link is committed to supporting channels with its latest announcement.
The unified network solution company has launched its new Value in Partnership+ (VIP+) program, which offers its partners a wide range of products, training, certifications, proactive technical support, and sales and marketing tools.
In particular, VIP+ includes a new partner level, expanded discounts, and two additional certifications. The channel program is meant to ensure “best-in-class” networking, security, storage, and IP surveillance solutions for customers, and helps value-added resellers deliver more value while growing their profitability.
“D-Link is committed to the highest quality, best-in-class partner program and delivering innovative, highly competitive products,” Diana Luong, channel marketing manager at D-Link, says in a July 19 press release. “The new D-Link VIP+ program offers enhanced tools to increase profitability, making it easier for reseller partners to sell and support D-Link’s award-winning business solutions.”
New program elements include:
- D-Link Copper Partner level – This new level gives partners “a strong deal registration program, stackable upfront discounts, a back-end volume incentive rebate (VIR), and D-Link Rewards program.” It also allows partners to receive “dedicated account management, access to Quarterly Product Roadmap briefings on the latest D-Link product core technologies, and upfront discounts at time of purchase.”
- Two new certifications – D-Link’s new Fundamentalist certification “assists partners with sales positioning and understanding D-Link’s product portfolio,” while the new D-Link Sales Specialist (Switching) certification “trains sales professionals on market strategy, value proposition, identifying opportunities, and understanding customer needs.”
- Non-profit discounts – D-Link now offers partners a five per cent upfront discount on any business solutions products purchased for government, education and non-profit end customers.
The VIP+ program is a free service for D-Link partners, and gives them access to other features such as quarterly volume incentive rebates, 24/7 tech support on business products, lead sharing and marketing development funds, and free on-demand and online VIP+ certifications.
The Copper level also has a deal registration program that contains stackable upfront discounts and a back-end volume incentive rebate. The level also features a rewards program and a dedicated account manager.
