Distributor Ingram Micro Inc. announced today that Paul Bay is the new executive vice-president of North America for the company.
This is a new position within the company and was created to help the distributor operate more efficiently within the U.S. and Canada.
Bay is no stranger to Ingram Micro. He worked there from 1995 to 2006. In his new role, Bay is responsible for all partner-facing activities relating to the U.S. and Canadian operations which include marketing, sales, technical support and vendor management.
Bay will report directly to Keith Bradly, the senior executive vice-president and president of Ingram Micro North America.
“We are thrilled to welcome Paul back to Ingram Micro and know his hands-on experience in finance, capital markets and general management will be extremely valuable as we build upon our competitive strengths, introduce new lines of business and develop even greater value for our channel partners,” Bradley said.
Earlier this month, Kirk Robinson was also promoted to vice-president, value-added reseller and GovEd sales, market development and business intelligence. Robinson is now responsible for driving sales strategies and performance within the distributor’s U.S. VAR base while also overseeing Ingram Micro’s new Business Intelligence Center.
