Microsoft’s newest weapon in search

Terrance Russell finds out how the slow moving Microsoft got a leg up on the Ad/search race.
”I’d prefer to call them “The Catch Up Crew” myself, but I don’t know if that’ll ever stick. Described as being dedicated to “accelerating innovations in search and ad technologies and delivering them more rapidly to advertisers and customers,” one can only hope that this is the performance enhancing shot in the arm that Redmond needs to compete with the likes of Google.”

The PCAOB tries to blame itself for the waste, but the reality is that it’s a combination of overpriced and overly complex software wrapped in a proprietary license, and an effort to force-feed square-peg technology onto round-peg people.”
