For once, the US is getting something second.
Software vendor NetMotion Wireless and Panasonic have announced they are bringing the NetMotion Mobility and Diagnostics software bundle for Panasonic Toughbook and Toughpad devices to the US and Latin America.
The solution, which aims to provide better connectivity and security, was launched first in Europe earlier this year.
“Users rely on Panasonic Toughbook and Toughpad tablet devices to get their work done even in extreme environments but harsh conditions can play havoc with mobile network access.” Mike McMahon, vice president of B2B enterprise and global sales at Panasonic System Communications Company of North America (PSCNA) said in a statement. “NetMotion’s Mobility and Diagnostics products offer the protection our mobile users need to stay securely connected to mission-critical corporate applications and data.”
Mobility is designed to maintain access to applications through changing network conditions, while Diagnostics is a location-aware solution that monitors mobile connectivity, allowing IT to manage, troubleshoot and optimize.
The software is available as an option from Panasonic.
