Oracle, a complete, open, and integrated business software and hardware systems company, has released the Oracle Primavera Inspire for SAP 7.0 for improved integration between its Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management and SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) project-related modules.
The integration will enable executives and project managers to achieve measurable ROI with Oracle’s Primavera Inspire for SAP 7.0. This will be done by lining up material resource, schedule and financial information between Oracle’s Primavera P6 and SAP’s Management, Project System and Plant Maintenance modules.
Oracle Primavera Inspire for SAP 7.0 provides project managers with the visibility required to manage and use resource well throughout corporate divisions and departments to enhance project planning and execution.
Large capital projects can now be delivered on time and within budget due to the integration between Oracle’s Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management and SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) project-related modules.
Components of SAP’s materials management process are now used by Primavera Inspire for SAP 7.0. This extends Primavera P6 further or manages all projects that are the foundation of an organisation’s business.
Primavera Inspire for SAP 7.0 has Materials Management Integration from SAP ERP to Primavera, which supports the visibility of stock and non-stock material requirements as resource assignments or activities in the Primavera P6 project plan. It also has E-mail Confirmation/Notification of Synchronization Results, which uses synchronisation scheduling functionality by providing e-mail confirmation/notification with synchronisation details without requiring end-users to log into the system.
It also includes Performance and Memory Utilization Improvements, which deliver up to a 30 per cent improvement in resource master synchronisation while also enabling parallel processing for faster synchronisation and improved memory consumption on large data volumes.
