We’re not entirely sure what it will look like yet. Nor what it will cost. But we can now reserve a BlackBerry 10 smartphone through wireless carrier Rogers Communications.

According to a report from IT World Canada, Rogers is the first Canadian carrier to take reservations for the upcoming Research in Motion release. The price will not be known until next month. The launch event is slated for January 30, 2013, with commercial availability to follow the next month. Select business customers are already testing the new BlackBerry 10 OS with a pre-production smartphone as part of an invite-only RIM demo program.

RIM will be hoping many Canadians take Rogers up on their offer and register early, as it would be a needed boost of confidence and sign of momentum going into next month’s launch, which is seen by many as a make or break event for the vendor.
