Keith Shaw’s review of Seagate’s Wireless Plus mobile storage product caught my interest this week.
The product costs about $200 for a 1TB unit, but price aside I thought this was a smart use of storage by Seagate.
The Wireless Plus external drive gives users better, faster access. Here’s how: the product comes with a Wi-Fi connection and the content can then be accessed by smartphone or a tablet device. It can also provide Internet service in a pinch, but what I really liked about it was that you can stream the videos, photos or music on a smartphone or tablet without using up storage on that device.
