Security as a service provider wants new partners

Security as a service provider My Digital Shield has launched a channel promotion designed to attract new channel partners.

The vendor’s “Race to Platinum” program gives value-added resellers (VARs), solution providers and managed service providers (MSPs) the opportunity to join the MDS channel program at the Gold level, which comes with benefits such as a 32 per cent monthly revenue share, new customer leads and promotional assistance.

The promotion allows partners to bypass Bronze and Silver and go straight to Gold, which usually takes signing 250 or more customers. The usual initial expense of up-front costs or extensive commitments to reach Gold are also bypassed.

The promotion also includes the opportunity to advance to Platinum status by signing 50 or more MDS subscriptions in the first three months. Platinum Partner benefits include 40 per cent continuous revenue share, a designated account manager, customized promotion materials and joint marketing events.

“We are excited about the progress of our partner program over the past several months and look forward to continued growth and momentum,” said Andrew Bagrin, founder and CEO of My Digital Shield, in a statement. “The ‘Race to Platinum’ promotion is our way of giving MSPs the chance to start seeing immediate benefits as an MDS reseller without the initial expense of up-front costs.”
