Security vendor Kaspersky Lab has a new head of enterprise sales for North America.
The Russian security vendor announced Tuesday that Bill Cunningham has come onboard as vice-president of enterprise sales for North America. He replaces Dan Burke in that role; Burke is no longer with the company.
Cunningham comes to Kaspersky with over 20 years of sales management experience, including most recently as vice-president of sales at online identity security provider WhiteSky, where he is credited with helping to increase the vendor’s sales pipeline and revising pricing models to meet a broader market demand. Before WhiteSky, he was vice-president of sales and business development, where he built its reseller program from the ground up and implemented a lead generation program.
In his new role with Kaspersky, he’ll be responsible for the North American enterprise field sales organization and report into Chris Doggett, senior vice-president for corporate sales in North America and Kaspersky’s defacto channel chief.
“Bill has years of relevant experience—both in sales leadership and in working with the enterprise—and there is no better time for us to tap into his insights and knowhow as we continue to innovate new information security technologies for large organizations,” said Doggett, in a statement. “We’re confident that under Bill’s leadership we’ll increasingly demonstrate to enterprises that not only is Kaspersky at the forefront of business information security technology, but that we offer the best possible protection and solutions that they won’t find elsewhere.”
