Managed security service provider Trustwave has announced a new partnership with network security company Palo Alto Networks.
Under the agreement, the former will provide managed security services on Palo Alto’s platform, expanding the devices in the service provider’s portfolio.
The partnership would bring these services to “global, multi-national businesses and government agencies,” the companies said in a joint statement.
Chicago, Illinois-based Trustwave plans to integrate Palo Alto’s WildFire service, a cloud-based malware analysis environment, with its own threat management and intelligence, as well as offer it to customers.
The company was last seen opening a security operations centre (SOC) in Kitchener-Waterloo and hiring software engineers, analysts and managers in August.
“Partnering with Palo Alto Networks brings a new level of protection to enterprises and government agencies that want advanced protection delivered as a managed security service,” said Robert McCullen, president and CEO of Trustwave in a statement.
