TORONTO – The best managed services solution winner at the 2015 Channel Elite Awards was Navantis, but the category was one of the closes finishes with Compugen and Itergy providing fantastic solutions.

The silver award winner, No. 3 solution provider on this year’s CDN Top 100 list Compugen of Richmond Hill, Ont., smartly solved problems at a major utilities company serving more than 100 communities in Canada. Compugen saw that his customer had evolved well beyond the capacity of its existing outsourced arrangement. Compugen identified key pain points and proposed an enterprise strategy of customer-owned toolset, customer-owned data and service-provider driven management to overcome them.
For the bronze, Montreal-based Itergy won for assisted a school board in their Office 365 migration by connecting all hosted Office 365 infrastructure components with its on-premise Active Directory, federation and synchronization infrastructure.
The solution also helped filter spam, improved uptime and expedited technical issues to Microsoft. The solution also helps maintain the overall infrastructure by managing patches and updates.
