Fremont, Calif.-based distributor Synnex and its Global Mobility Solutions arm has launched a new channel mobility program called MobilitySolv.
According to Synnex, MobilitySolv provides a roadmap for an entire mobility solution for the channel and encompasses all angles needed to enable solution providers to capture the complete sales opportunity.
This program joins Synnex’ roster of Solv type programs such as PrintSolv, ConvergeSolv, CloudSolv, ProHealthSolv, and DemandSolv.
The new division will be led by mobility-industry veteran Adnon Dow who said MobilitySolv strategy provides end-to-end mobility and connectivity solutions, leveraging best-of-breed vendors to keep workforces connected and productive.
In the recent CDN Channel Census survey, Canadian resellers chose mobile as its No. 3 growth area for 2013 trailing only Managed Services and Cloud Computing.
The CDN Channel Census found that mobile solutions are broader but require some competency in wireless and networking and application management when it comes to mobile apps.

MobilitySolv’s aim is to bridge across other technology solutions the distributor offers to the channel and encompasses Machine-2-Machine, productivity solutions, security and optimization, as well as support services. Through a series of MobilitySolv educational road shows, resellers can learn how collaborating with Synnex enables them to have a strong mobility practice.
